THERE are plenty of places to catch the England v Sweden match on the big screen in and around York on Saturday.

Brew York Craft Brewery in Walmgate will be showing the match on two big screens at the City of Ale Festival, which opens at 12pm and also takes place on Sunday.

Pocklington Arts Centre will also be screening the match on a big screen, with the bar opening at 2.15pm and free entry.

Friends and family attending the popular Copmanthorpe Carnival today will also have the opportunity to watch the football on a HD projector at the village recreation centre and a television will also be screening the match outside.

And film fans can go for a more cinematic experience, with City Screen York showing the football on the big screen for free, but tickets must be booked in advance. Tickets have already sold out for Spark York, which is also showing the match.
