POLICE are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables and personal belongings after a car was broken into in York.
It happened on Knapton Lane, Acomb, overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
North Yorkshire Police said a male was seen trying car door handles on Almsford Road, Acomb.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious should phone 999 straight away.
Last week The Press reported how car owners in nearby Rosedale Avenue had been warned about break ins.
