YORK may be sweltering in a mini-heatwave but tickets will go on sale on Monday ...for the city's Annual Community Carol Concert.
Organiser Graham Bradbury says the concert will take place at York Barbican at 2.30 pm on Sunday December 16 and raise funds for the Lord Mayor and Sheriff of York’s Christmas Cheer Fund and The Island, a charity nominated by The Press.
Performers will include Shepherd Group Youth Band, York Light Youth Choir, Hempland Primary Academy “Hempland Starlings, All Saints RC School Combined Choirs, 4 On Demand and Steve Cassidy. Tickets for the concert will cost £7.50 for adults and £6 for senior citizens and under 14s.
