A VISITOR attraction in Ryedale is joining in the celebrations of York’s new floral festival - Bloom! - by running a half-day floristry workshop.
Helmsley Walled Garden’s workshop will take place on July 6, from 10am to noon in the Orchid House at the Garden. The theme will be ‘Make it With Flowers’ and participants will be creating a table centre piece in a basket.
Bloom!, being held from July 5 to 8, will celebrate York’s rich and varied horticultural heritage.
Tickets for the floristry workshop cost £25 and places can be booked by phoning 01439 771427.
