THREE people were injured in a car crash in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at about 8.30pm on Sunday, June 10, in Shipton Road near the junction of Southolme Drive and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a black Vauxhall Astra.
A spokesman said the road was closed for about an hour while officers investigated the scene, and the driver and passenger from the Vauxhall and the passenger from the Fiesta were taken by ambulance to York Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Police want to speak to the driver of a red car, possibly a Seat, which was seen driving along Shipton Road towards York prior to the crash.
Anyone who saw the crash, or may be able to help identify the driver of the red car, should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two, and ask for PC Mike Rowan.
