I WONDER what exactly the Prime Minister has got to hide. So much so that she had to deploy a three-line whip on her MPs when discussing the Windrush matter (The Press, May 3).

The opposition were only requesting to see all the information regarding the Windrush calumny, covering the last eight years.

I would have thought that this was a simple request that should have been granted forthwith, but obviously not to the very unstable and unsafe Prime Minister.

If she had nothing to hide, why not simply hand the requested material over?

The Tories don’t want the people of this country to see exactly what they have got hiding in the cupboards surrounding migration.

The truth is that the innocent people caught up in the Windrush scandal have never been immigrants since they set foot on British soil.

We, the British people along with the government of the day gave them British citizenship.

Mrs May should realise that the Windrush scandal has already cost her Government the head of one senior minister and may perhaps catch her head also.

It was our current Prime Minister who set the current “hostile environment” running rife within the walls of the Home Office, thus preparing the way for

innocent citizens to suffer all types of hideous financial and mental hardship, as well as imprisoning some innocent people in deportation centres.

If Mrs May had one iota of humanity about her, she would allow the unfettered truth to be told and seen by all immediately.
