A LARGE shop window valued at more than £1,000 has been smashed in a North Yorkshire town.
The criminal damage happened at a shop on Victoria Road, Scarborough, between midnight and 1.30am on May 8, North Yorkshire Police said.
A shop owner arrived to open his shop and found that a large glass window had been smashed overnight, the force added.
The force is asking for the public’s help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the suspect.
