FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze "of doubtful origin" on the outskirts of Breighton Airfield near Selby.
Humberside fire service was called to the fire on Sand Lane, Breighton, shortly after 9pm.
It involved 40 square metres of wooden work tops on fire.
Fire crews and police attended the scene.
The crews used two hose reels, one main line, four breathing apparatus, hay drags, a thermal image camera and portable lighting.
A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze is "of doubtful origin."
A spokesman for Humberside Police said investigations were underway.
He said: "Officers and fire crews were called to the blaze which involved a pile of wood around 9.30pm.
"No-one was hurt in the fire and no buildings were damaged. It’s thought it could have been started deliberately."
