A YORK grant-making charity for disabled and seriously ill children is in the running for an award, after raising £2.9 million through a unique business model.
Family Fund has been shortlisted for the UK-wide Civil Society Charity Awards 2018 in the ‘Grantmaking and Funding’ category.
It has been recognised for the setting up and successful establishment of its trading subsidiary, Family Fund Business Services.
The inception and launch of the trading subsidiary has helped to increase and diversify Family Fund’s income by gifting almost £2.9 million of income.
