A WIGGINTON care home has thrown open its doors for a national, community-focused initiative.
Last weekend saw care homes across the country welcome the public for a national open day.
Its aim was to bring communities together and dispel the myths surrounding care homes.
Rosevale joined in the fun with an activity-laden day on Saturday, April 21, which saw staff, residents and visitors learning to juggle and entertained by singer and teacher Jessa Liversidge and a 40-strong choir of pupils from Wigginton primary school.
Rosevale manager Charlene Wrigglesworth said: “Whenever Jessa brings the children in it lights everyone up”.
