THREE men have been arrested after a fight in York.

North Yorkshire Police has appealed for witnesses about the altercation, which happened at the junction of Duncombe Place and St Leonard’s Place at just before 7pm on Wednesday, April 18, and involved three men and a woman.

A spokesman for the force said the three men were later released on bail as the investigation continued, but police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

He said: "Several members of the public were in the vicinity of the incident. We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

"In particular, we are appealing for information about the actions of the people involved in the altercation and what, if anything, they said."
