THOUSANDS of tulips will be adding splashes of colour to an attraction in East Yorkshire.
Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington is set hold its sixth annual Tulip Festival.
More than 14,000 tulips, comprising over 30 varieties, will be on display during the festival, from April 28 to May 12. These can be seen formally displayed in tubs and in the numerous flower beds around the site. The festival attracts many thousands of visitors.
