A CAMPERVAN has been destroyed in a blaze in York.
The vehicle was well alight on a driveway next to a property, North Yorkshire fire service said.
Fire crews from Acomb were called to the incident in Beckfield Lane, Acomb, at 5.05pm on Saturday.
An engine fault is believed to have caused the blaze, the fire service added.
It said the campervan was destroyed and the fire also damaged the upstairs window of the property and a part of the roof lining.
The crews put out the flames using foam, two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. They requested help from another crew.
