HUNDREDS of motorcyclists rode into Malton on Sunday as part of an annual charity Easter Egg Run.
The traditional Squires Motorbike Café’s fundraiser saw motorbikes, trikes and scooters travel in a cavalcade to Malton from Sherburn-in-Elmet.
Music was provided by the Cover Ups and The Jokers and there was also a tombola and raffle. Funds raised will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Melanie Fox, one of the organisers, said: “A big thank you to everyone involved and all those who donated tombola prizes. Thanks also to Derek Fox Butchers for the fantastic barbecue. Thanks also to Chris Eden and team marshals from Squires for helping organise this great event and to all the bikers and supporters for coming to Malton and not forgetting the fantastic Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
“I would also like to thank the Milton Rooms for hosting the bands. Gail Cook, the town clerk for running the tombola, Malcolm Pearson for organising the scooters, Malton and Norton Rotary Club, Richard Houghton and his team for road closures, and Mark Brayshaw and Andrew Riley from the Fitzwilliam Malton Estate."
Squires Egg Run organiser Chris Eden said: “We were thrilled to return to Malton. People were extremely welcoming and supportive.”
