A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy has been injured in an accident with a car on the A64 in North Yorkshire.
Police said that the collision at Rillington, between Malton and Scarborough, was reported at 8.48pm.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service said both a road ambulance and an air ambulance were sent to the scene, but the latter was not needed.
A spokeswoman said the child was taken to York Hospital by road ambulance with injuries which were believed to be minor.
The road was temporarily closed affer the accident.
