WORK has taken place to repair a burst water pipe on a main road in York.
Yorkshire Water said it was made aware of the burst pipe on Haxby Road last night and it sent a team out as quickly as possible.
A spokesman for the company said: “To fix the leak, three-way traffic lights were set up and we apologise for the inconvenience caused."
The pipe has been fixed and the site was cleared by 12.50pm today.
