KFC has announced that their Blossom Street and Clifton Moor branches of KFC have reopened
Both were closed for part of this week after a new delivery contract with DHL led to shortages of chicken at KFC takeaways across the country.
Many of the chain's stores are still closed.
A DHL truck was spotted carrying out a delivery at the Blossom Street branch on Tuesday night but this morning KFC said the restaurant has not yet reopened.
A KFC spokesman said: "We anticipate the number of closures will reduce today and over the coming days as our teams work flat out all hours to clear the backlog.
"Each day more deliveries are being made; however, we expect the disruption to some restaurants to continue over the remainder of the week, meaning some will be closed and others operating with a reduced menu or shortened hours."
Late this afternoon the company added both outlets to its list of reopened outlets on its website.
