BURGER chain Byron is set to lose up to 20 UK restaurants in a financial rescue plan, and its Harrogate outlet in on the 'at risk' list.
However, the popular company's York restaurant, based in High Ousegate, looks safe for now.
Accountancy firm KPMG, which is handling the restructuring, confirmed the plan earlier this week, which would also involve cutting rent payments at other outlets.
Byron's creditors are due to vote on the rescue plan on January 31.
