A MAN suffered a facial injury and lost a tooth in an assault.
North Yorkshire Police said there was a confrontation between two men at the area of Skipton Road/Woodfield Road in Harrogate between 11.10am and 11.30am on December 28.
One of the man required treatment after suffering a facial injury and losing a tooth, a police spokesman added.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released pending further enquiries, the spokesman said.
Police are conducting inquiries and are asking for the public's help to determine the full circumstances surrounding the assault.
In particular, they are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the confrontation between the two men.
