THE prosecution has dropped its case against a man accused of a modern slavery offence.
Le Luong, 28, of South Street, Buxton, was arrested in connection with the week-long disappearance of two girls in York last July.
He denied a charge of facilitating travel of a person with intent to exploit them. Later the CPS offered no evidence and he was acquitted at Derby Crown Court.
Both girls were found safe and well after a police search.
