FANCY Dance Shop on Micklegate provided a ballet spectacular for yesterday’s living advent calendar window.
Jayne Mason, the owner of the dance supplies shop, came up with the spectacular theme, which featured a tutu-clad ballerina - professional dancer Zoe Partington, 25, from Copmanthorpe - pirouetting for the public.
Zoe, who also works in the shop, performed live in the window yesterday, but also hopes to climb back into the display again before Christmas.
The window, which was revealed live on Facebook, also features a wreath made entirely out of pointe shoes, and a festive scene in black, cream and gold.
Don’t forget to vote for your favourite between Boxing Day and January 5.
Today’s window will be unveiled at the Dean Court Hotel, opposite the Minster.
