A MAN needed hospital treatment after suffering facial injuries in an attack in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the attack happened when the man was waiting for a taxi in Duncombe Place at around 3am on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
She asked witnesses or anyone with information to phone police on 101 and quote NYP-11122017-0218.
