A MAN in his twenties died following a crash on a North Yorkshire road.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at about 8.30pm on Saturday, December 9, on the A170 near Kirkbymoorside when a blue Volkswagen Polo, which was travelling towards Pickering, left the road near the junction with Appleton-le-Moors.
The vehicle travelled down an embankment and came to rest in a field. Emergency services attended and the driver was treated by paramedics, but pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A spokesman said the man was thought to be from the Pickering area, and officers were carrying out enquiries into the crash.
