HEAVY snow has fallen in York -and there's more on the way.
Motorists have been facing treacherous driving conditions as wintry showers spread to the city after earlier falls on the North York Moors.
The snow has given children the chance to go sledging at Sledmere Hall in the Yorkshire Wolds this morning.
Temperatures in York will rise no higher than 3C today and it feels much colder in a biting northerly wind.
Further wintry showers will fall overnight.
