Car believed to have been torched in York
A CAR is believed to have been deliberately set alight in York.
Firefighters were called to reports of a car fire in Moore Avenue, Tang Hall, at about 8.15pm yesterday.
They discovered a Vauxhall Astra on fire, and put out the flames using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said: "The car was completely damaged by fire. The cause is believed to be deliberate."
