STRONG winds are expected to affect road, rail, air and ferry transport in York and North Yorkshire tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued a 'yellow warning' of strong winds moving east across England and Wales during the day.
Gusts of 40mph ar expected in York between 3pm and 7pm.
Persistent and heavy rain is also expected over the Pennines but this is not forecast to reach York.
