POLICE have urged residents in the Selby district to report any incidents of flytipping.
The call follows an increase in incidents in the Catterton and Wighill area, with old tyres, windows and rubble being dumped on the side of the road.
Flytipping can result in prosecution, fines of up to £50,000 and even a prison sentence. Anyone with information on who is responsible should call PCSO 6239 Saville on 101 or Selby District Council.
