PEOPLE of other faiths and none attended a Shabbat service organised by York's Liberal Jewish Community in the final event of National Interfaith Week in York.
Scores attended the service, held on Saturday morning at the Friends Meeting House in Friargate and led by Student Rabbi Gabriel Webber, who is acting Rabbi for the York community.
Those attending included York Central MP Rachael Maskell and the Lord Mayor of York, Cllr Barbara Boyce.
York hosted a number of events throughout the week, each inviting residents to discover the city's diverse and vibrant faith communities, beliefs, traditions, values and contributions to 21st century life.
Events included an open day at York Mosque, a Buddhist talk and discussion and an Interfaith Cafe at the Unitarian Chapel.
