A FESTIVE shoebox appeal has been launched in Pickering to make sure no-one goes without a present this year.
Information leaflets about the project - which involves residents packing boxes with knitted hats, scarves and gloves - can be found at Potter Hill Methodist Church, Reeds newsagents, and the Library.
Completed shoeboxes can be left at the Potter Hill Methodist Church or 14 Willow Court, Pickering, which is the home of the appeal’s organiser Daphne Bowes.
