A FLOOD warning has been issued for York.
The Environment Agency has put a flood warning in place for the river Ouse at Naburn Lock, south of the city, meaning flooding is expected and people should take immediate action.
The Ouse was expected to keep rising on Sunday morning, peaking 2.8m at around 10am, before levels would start to fall slowly.
Less severe flood alerts have also been issued on the Upper River Ouse near Nether Poppleton, and south on the Tidal River Ouse near Selby.
