Van destroyed in arson attack
A VAN has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack in North Yorkshire.
Fire crews were called to the blaze, involving a Mercedes van, in Bishopdyke Road, Sherburn in Elmet, at about 3.45am today.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said: "Cause is believed to be deliberate. Van was totally destroyed."
Crews used one hose reel to put out the fire.
