A SUPERMARKET is gathering the views of residents as part of a company’s campaign to do more work in the community.
The Co-Op’s shaping your community event is at the National Centre for Early Music Centre, St Margaret’s Church, Walmgate, on September 26 from 7pm to 9pm.
The event will ask for people’s views on the community causes it is supporting and campaigning on. It also wants to hear views on what people would like them to campaign on and what it can do to support the community.
The event is open to all and will allow members of the public to come down and try some of the Co-op’s food products as well as enjoy a Fairtrade tea or coffee.
Co-Op staff will also be talking about the current campaigns it is running to tackle loneliness and isolation and modern slavery.
