Man suffers suspected spinal injuries after car leaves road
A MAN has suffered suspected spinal injuries after a car left a road in North Yorkshire.
Firefighters were called to the A171 near Cloughton, north of Scarborough, at about 8.30am today following the crash.
They used hydraulic cutting gear to free the man from his car.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: Male, aged 30s, with suspected spinal injuries then taken to hospital by ambulance after roof removal procedure carried out."
