A FALLEN tree blocked a road near a National Trust site in North Yorkshire.
The tree fell into Brimham Rocks Road, close to the popular tourist attraction Brimham Rocks, near Harrogate.
The incident was reported to police at 9.30pm yesterday.
North Yorkshire Police traffic constable David Minto said the road was cleared thanks to a "swift response" from North Yorkshire County Council.
He added: "The road was probably only closed for half an hour when I was there. The tree had fallen about 20 minutes prior to my arrival."
