'Edgelands: Exploring the Margins of Urban Living' which will open at Beverley Art Gallery this weekend
A NEW free exhibition is opening at Beverley Art Gallery on Saturday, September 2.
"Edgelands : Exploring the Margins of Urban Living" will run until Saturday, October 14.
It features work by members of the recently formed Contemporary British Painting group, and visitors will encounter "six visions of the modern world" in the paintings that look at wastelands and neglected fringelands.
The exhibition will be in Beverley Art Gallery in the Treasure House, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am – 5pm; Tuesday and Thursday 9.30 am – 8pm; and Saturday 9am – 4pm. Details at www.museums.eastriding.gov.uk.
