TWO restaurants have raised £3,044 for charities in York.
Customers at Ambiente Tapas in Goodramgate and its sister premises in Fossgate raised £2,044 - £656 for Ambulance Wish Foundation and £1,388 for victims of domestic abuse or sexual violence charity IDAS by donating £1 on their food bills.
This was topped up by a £1,000 donation from the company.
