TRADING Standards are urging people to be careful of workmen who offer cut price driveway work, claiming to have tarmac leftover from nearby roadworks.
Officer in North Yorkshire say they continually get reports of this from residents and businesses. People are often end up paying thousands for work they expected to cost hundreds, and they are often left with poor workmanship. Report approaches to the police on 101 or Trading Standards 03454 04 05 06.
