DOCTORS are urging patients to check their stocks of repeat medication ahead of the August bank holiday weekend, when most GP practices will be closed.
NHS services are often under pressure during bank holidays, so doctors in Ryedale are urging people to check ahead the three-day weekend.
Pharmacy information for the area is available at www.scarboroughryedaleccg.nhs.uk. Urgent health care is available by calling 111 over the bank holiday weekend, and if an illness of injury is serious or life threatening people should call 999 or go to A & E.
