A PAIR of medieval outlaws rubbed shoulders with a Tudor monarch at historic York hall this week.
Robin Hood and Maid Marian - actors Neil Reynolds and Siobhan Athwal - took a trip back in time between performances of York Theatre Royal’s “Robin Hood: The Arrow of Destiny”.
They visited the Barley Hall, the townhouse which was once home of the Priors of Nostell and a Lord Mayor of York, William Snawsell. Neil and Siobhan discovered what life was like - taking a seat at the high table, and immersing themselves in the life of a wealthy family in medieval York.
The pair also saw the Hall’s current exhibition, a display of costumes from the BBC’s version of Wolf Hall, including outfits worn by Damian Lewis as Henry VIII.
