I READ about the problems with recruitment of social workers in the children sector, and the financial struggles (The Press, August 14).
One has to applaud those in that field of work at this time when families struggle to maintain their family values.
With these services under the spotlight, one can see why many do not wish to enter this type of a career with all its twists and turns.
