INDEPENDENTLY owned North Yorkshire waste company Whitkirk Waste Solutions is looking to build on its success in the food and drinks sector following the appointment of a new sales manager.
The appointment of Phil Schofield to the role comes as the company, which is part of the £50 million Bowring Group, looks to build on its success in the food and drinks sector, where it specialises in wet waste tankering, disposal and secure destruction for several high profile, global brands.
Mr Schofield joins Whitkirk Waste Solutions from Acumen Waste in Leeds where he spent four years as sales manager.
Easingwold-based Whitkirk Waste Solutions has completed a £1.5 million investment plan in its transport fleet. The second phase of investment is underway for the rest of 2017 which will see more new vehicles and barrels added.
