MEMBERS of the public have the chance to meet the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire at Huntington Community Centre next week.
Police and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan is holding a public surgery at the community centre on Thursday August 31 from 3pm to 5pm.
Residents are encouraged to meet Mrs Mulligan, but will have to make an appointment and will have 15 minutes to have their said and must answer some questions from her staff in advance so she can be prepared for the session.
The PCC cannot intervene or influence an ongoing investigation either into a crime or where a member of the public has made a complaint against a police officer.
However, she can give advice on the process of making a complaint.
Anyone wishing to see her at the surgery should phone 01423 569562 or email info@northyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk
Upcoming surgeries around the county can be found at northyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk
