POLICE have reported a spike in vehicle crime in the Selby area.
North Yorkshire Police said there had been three reports in recent days of vehicles being broken into, with a sat-nav and money stolen.
The thefts happened in Longmann Hills Road, the George Inn car park, and the Malt Shovel car park.
A spokesman said: "Please do not leave any valuables or money in your vehicle, no matter how small the amount may be."
Anyone with information should phone police on 101.
