DETECTIVES want to speak to these men after a man was physically and verbally abused and spat at in front of his family.
North Yorkshire Police said a 36-year-old man from Scarborough had been on the Regal Lady cruise with his wife and two children at about 5.30pm on Saturday.
As they got off the boat, he confronted three men who were littering in Burr Bank. Two of the men then grabbed him by the throat, repeatedly spat in his face and verbally abused him before making off on foot.
Anyone with information or who recognises the men should phone police on 101, press two and ask to speak to Zachary Waterman. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111, quoting reference 12170142802.
