VINTAGE motorcycles from a golden era visited the Yorkshire Air Museum over the weekend.
Machines gathering for a countryside run included a 1925 Raleigh6A 350 cc entered by Ian Cooney from Brough, East Yorkshire and a 1914 Scott Squirrel 600cc entered by John Lockett from Bury, Lancashire.
Organisers of the event at the museum at Elvington, near York, said it ran very smoothly, with all entries arriving and departing for the run -'although one or two had to be retrieved, a fantastic opportunity to see these very rare machines.'
