Homes in Malton town centre blaze
Firefighters are investigating a blaze that spread to a home in the centre of Malton this afternoon.
The fire started in a commercial premises in Yorkersgate, Malton, shortly after 3pm.
Before firefighters could bring it until control it spread to the homes in the upper part of the building.
Crews from Malton and Pickering extinguished the flames using a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.
They have yet to establish the cause.
