TALK about British pluck. Today, we report on two people who epitomise the ‘never-say-die’ spirit that the people of these islands like to pride themselves on.
Jannine Church survived both a 1,300-foot fall down a mountain and a brain tumour the size of an apple to become a medal-winning athlete. Daredevil Ian Wood, meanwhile, is planning a wingwalk for charity - even though he is registered blind and uses a wheelchair. Heroes, each of them - and inspiring examples for the rest of us. Hats off to both.
