VOLUNTEERS from a Yorkshire building society have done their bit for the county's famed landscapes by spending a day improving facilities for disabled visitors to Sutton Bank National Park Centre.
The 21 staff from Leeds Building Society took advantage of a volunteering scheme which gives all Society staff a day’s paid leave a year to help in the community. At Sutton Bank in the North York Moors National Park - home to what author James Herriot called "England's finest view" - they resurfaced a well-used trail for wheelchair users, and did the same for a bike trail.
