THE CITY council is moving out of its historic home for a major refurbishment.
Thursday saw the last City of York Council meeting in the Guildhall council chamber, before work starts to convert the complex into serviced offices and a restaurant, although the council chamber and medieval Guildhall will stay. Full council meetings will move to the Citadel on Gillygate during the refurbishment.
