AN 87-year-old woman was burgled at her home in Selby.

North Yorkshire Police said a man forced his way into the house in Cockret Close at just after 8pm on Saturday. He allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm and demanded money, but she fled to a neighbour for help. A 37-year-old man was arrested in Kitchener Street at about 9pm, and was released under investigation.
